First Haircut!

Today we took Tyler to get his first haircut. After months of Alan nagging me, I finally gave in and agreed to cut those adorable curly locks off in favor of what I call a true "little boy haircut!" Tyler was a champ and the lady commented repeatedly what a great first timer he was (you can even hear her say it in the video!). We went to Just Kids Cuts in Burlingame for a terrific experience! They had a playroom to play in while you wait... complete with toys, tv, and video games. Then at each hair cutting station there was your own tv, video games, and lollipops. Tyler's favorite part was saying hi and waving to everyone he saw, of course! Everyone in there knew it was Tyler's first haircut - could it be the scene we made with the video camera, regular camera, and all the attention we were giving Tyler?? At the end of the haircut, the stylist gave us his curls to keep and a certificate for his very first haircut. All in all, not nearly as traumatic as I had thought it would be. Just another step in Tyler Toddlerhood...
