What Happens When Tyler Puts Two Hands Together..

I think I hear my mom and dad say that they think I am so smart everyday and, I just proved it to them again! They have always tried to encourage my good behaviors by clapping and saying "Yay!" when they see me do something new, smart, or just plain amazing. Well, I showed them that I know how to clap too and also know when to clap. Below is a video of me not only clapping in imitation of daddy but also clapping when I hear mommy and daddy say "Yay Tyler." Enjoy!

8 Months Old Already?!?

So today I felt very adventurous and just had to try something new -- and thank god it worked out quite well! I was proud to show off in front of the camera as Daddy videotaped me. Now that I am 8-months old, i can crawl AND sit-up completely by myself. And today, for all the world to see, I pulled myself up to a standing position, with no help whatsoever! See the movie below:

So, now that I am 8-months, my favorite toy is my Leapfrog musical table (although my exersaucer is still a great holdout). I have two teeth that Mommy and Daddy can see, and they are pretty sure I have many more coming because I have been having trouble sleeping through the night recently. Of course, I try to fit anything and everything in my mouth, including but not limited to: any string, wire, or shoelace that comes within arm's reach; wrought iron table legs (Nana has helped to baby proof the coffee table and end tables); fingers, toes, noses, etc....pretty much anything!

Also, Grandpa took some amazing pictures of me for my eight month birthday. Here is one of my 8-month pictures for you to enjoy - and possibly you might see it on Regis and Kelly IF they happen to pick me as a finalist of some sort (and who wouldn't - I am the cutest baby in the world!).

And of course, I can't forget to mention that the movie I was filmed in when I was 2 weeks old is showing at a film festival in San Jose and has been submitted to Sundance Film Festival - we will keep you posted if it makes it! Also, Grandpa had an amazing opportunity to be in a Giant's fan commercial for the upcoming 2009 season. As soon as we hear on when it may appear on TV we will let you know. Sometime in March, you may see a commercial of Grandpa pushing me in a stroller, so keep your eyes open. While there, Grandpa took some great pictures of me meeting Aaron Rowand and Barry Zito, as well as Lou Seal the Giant's mascot (who tried to run off with me). Here are some of the pictures from that crazy day. Tata for now!
