Tyler's 2 Months Old!!

I can hardly believe it....but, I'm 2 months old tomorrow! Today I had my 2 month check up at the doctor's. My parents were guessing I was 8lbs, but I surprised everyone when the scale said 9lbs 1 oz!! That means I've doubled my weight in two months, since I came home from the hospital weighing 4lbs 9 oz! Not bad for a preemie! I am now 21 3/4 inches long too. As you can see, I was all smiles at the doctor's...that is until I had 3 vaccines.

Last weekend I went on my longest car ride so far...to Nana and Popoulli's house about 45 minutes away. I did much better on the way there, than on the way back - but I had soooo much fun with them. They held me and played with me for the entire afternoon! I sure am one lucky boy!
Last night my parents celebrated their 3rd anniversary. They went out to a nice dinner while I had a good time with Grandpa and Bubbie. They took me for a walk and I played with all of my baby stuff I have there!

I also took some fun pictures this past week! My friend Aiden had some pictures of him taken like this so mommy borrowed the idea (thanks Brooke!). I sure do look small on big people furniture!


I now talk (ok ok, it's more like cooing) to people that hold me and my friends (toys) attached to my playmat. I love playing on my playmat whether it's on my back looking up at my toys, or on my tummy which makes my neck muscles strong. Not only can I "talk," but I can also hold my head up (though when I'm tired it's wobbly) and smile at people (especially when they smile at me first!). My mommy is going back to work after next week and I am now officially sad about that. :( My grandpa and nana are going to take good care of me though and I'm just thankful I won't be stuck at a daycare where I don't know anyone. I hope to get together with all my baby-friends soon! I miss Sam, Aiden, Maddie, and Dylan! Other than that, not much is new with me and I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
